Disclaimer: The theme I plan to blog on for Sundays shares encouragement I’ve received from God’s Word, the Holy Bible. I’ll understand if you skip these posts but hope that you’ll try it out and keep an open mind. Thanks for your consideration!
God’s Word has a lot to say about fresh starts. You can probably attest to needing one every once in awhile (I seem to need them daily!) Whether its the Saturday night you can’t quite remember or unfortunately do remember. The one that found a box of Hostess snack cakes go missing from the store shelf and seemingly leave the planet before the end of the day (?). Sometimes I need a fresh start not from what I’ve put into my mouth, but instead what’s come out of it. No matter what action (or inaction) may lead you to need a new start, it is ready and available.
In Lamentations 3:23 it states, “Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.” That means each new day is an opportunity to start over. To be more mindful with your actions, your words, your efforts. To show up and be the encouragement to others that you’ve been placed on this planet to be. You have so much to offer. You have a purpose. Let’s start by taking care of ourselves so that we can help others. Have a blessed day!
As always, if you would like me to pray with you or would simply like to know more about the man who raised the dead and heals the sick, please send me a message on the Contact page. God bless!
